Only one offer is available per addressee. For new Regions customers, address on new account must match address on the letter to be eligible for the bonus. At the time the credit is issued, your new account must be open and in good standing, your election for Online Statements must not have been changed and your Visa CheckCard must be open. You are responsible for any tax due on any amount received under this offer. Regions may report this bonus as income if required by applicable law. Regions associates are not eligible.
Deposit Account. All LifeGreen checking accounts require a $50 minimum opening deposit. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) paid on LifeGreen Preferred Checking® accounts is based on account balance and, as of September 1, 2017, was 0.01% for all balances. Regions may change the APY at any time. No interest is paid on other LifeGreen checking accounts. A monthly fee may apply to your LifeGreen checking account, depending on account type, but this fee may be waived on some accounts if certain conditions are met. Please ask your banker or look online at regions.com/checking for the most current conditions to waive the monthly account fee. Fees may reduce earnings. For accounts opened in Iowa, certain account fees are subject to Iowa State Tax of
6%, which will be assessed at the time the fee is charged, unless exempt.
1Online Banking. Online Banking (including Online Statements, Bill Pay and Regions Mobile Deposit) requires you to have a Social Security or Taxpayer Identification number or use alternative enrollment procedures available by visiting a branch.
2Overdrafts. For information on how to avoid overdrafts while using your new account or CheckCard, visit regions.com/overdraftoptions. For information about the use of your CheckCard and protection from fraud and unauthorized transactions, visit regions.com/checkcard. You may also talk to your banker or call 1-800-947-BANK (2265).
3'Posting' and Qualifying Purchases. CheckCard purchases do not always post to your account the same day you use your card or otherwise authorize a purchase. The timing of when a purchase posts depends largely upon the merchant. “Pending” transactions are not counted. You may use Online Banking and/or Mobile Banking to
track when purchases post. Purchases also include payments made using your CheckCard number, but not ATM transactions.
